 Rating:  - What a pleasure watching the lifespan of a Butterfly...WE got the butterfly treehouse for our 6 year old son after he had seen it advertised on one of his kid channels. We found our treehouse at Target and then sent away for our Caterpillars. You pay 6.00 for shipping and handling. They arrived, already crawling around in about 5 days. You don't have to do anything with them except watch. After about a week, 4 of the 5 were already in their cocoons.. The fifth one went in on the next day. A week later... We had 4 of the 5 butterflies emerge ... Read More Rating: - Great learning tool for kidsMy 3 year old daughter desparately wanted this kit when she saw the commercials on TV. She was so excited when we saw it in a store that she immediately wanted it instead of the bored game we went to buy. Our butterflies just came out yesterday and she is beyond thrilled to see them and feed them. It really is a fun family experience. Rating:  - Kids loved itThe only thing I didn't like about this product is the caterpillars have to be sent for by mail for with another six dollars. I don't remember where the description said that they we not included all together. It is pretty cool how fast the caterpillars grow. |
