I found this one much easier to use and clean. In fact, very little needs to be done to keep it clean. My co-workers have commended the quality of espresso coming out of this machine. After years (9) of my wife using a $40 Krups model, I gave her this machine for her birthday after seeing Alton Brown use it on his show "Good Eats."
