 Rating:  - Fresh MapsSeems easy enough. My Navigon 2100 Max came with the latest version, so i'm just waiting for their next update. Rating: - Navigon 2100 is a nice toy, butmostly is a toy. The map data is shaky. Roads that were completed years ago are still in error. The points of interest are sparse and way out of date. I registered mine for a free map update, downloaded it, and see no improvements. Makes me wonder about the FRESHMAPS option (another $70). Navigon uses the Navteq data base and I went there and most of the errors are not there? Is Navigon using a much, much older data base? Also, navigation is strange. Repeat ... I really like how the product handles and the convenience of the map update. Rating: - Update not available until July 2008I purchased the Navigon 2100 FreshMaps Update Service in late April '08. According to the Navigon Website this three year update would be available at that time. Since then Navigon has put off the map updates until July '08. They have offered a free temporary program version/map update to everyone at this time - but that's not the point. I paid for a service in April that won't be available until July.
