I wasn't aware that it came with a button you can push to hear taglines from the episode. Unfortunately, the button doesn't work. It was still a great price & I am pleased!!! It is not an educational toy, but that isn't the point. Who watches I Love Lucy to be educated?

The first doll set sent to me did not work. There is a button to push to hear a quote from this episode, but it was broken. I called Amazon. They said I had to order another one they could not order it for me. The first one was on sale but when I went to order the replacement it was not on sale. Amazon refunded me the difference and the second doll set came quickly and worked fine. It was a birthday gift for an adult who is a big fan of Lucy. I recently purchased "The "Birds" collector Barbie, and it is very nice, so I maybe was expecting a little more from this set of Barbies.
The dolls are cute with wide eyes,pursed lips and bulging cheeks... I think even if you would see them without the box you would still recognize them as Lucy and Ethel in the candy factory. The fabric of the dresses is sort of thin looking but nicely detailed with collars, belts, tiny buttons.

I got a great price on these dolls. This is my second set, but I wanted an out of box set. The dolls are very well made and look great in and outside the box. Highly recommend!
