We did have to teether the car seat (using the long way, not short), as our daughter is over 40 pounds, and therefore LATCH is not recommended. Well, my husband didn't think it was necessary to purchase such an expensive carseat, especially when you can buy a $20 booster seat instead. He has so much room to grow into it, there are so many settings for the 5 point harness that I know he'll be in this carseat for a long time! Read More Rating: - Great Car SeatWe just purchased this car seat after hearing so many good things about Britax. My 3.3-year old son is very comfortable in it using the 5-point harness system. The installation is not hard at all, provided you have a latch. I am not sure about the seat belt installationi. It is much easier to get the seat very securely installed with the design of the latch attachment "buckles" on the seat.
