![]() Rating: - Hitachi Power Stapler gets the job doneI bought this 18 Ga. stapler to install some plywood underlayment for a shop upgrade. I liked the fact it was the old commercial look Hitachi and not the new fad look they've now adopted. They have a solid reputation and I figured the price was good for the job I had in mind and I wouldn't have to borrow one from a buddy. The tool arrived promptly, well packed (double boxed) and in a new plastic case. After getting used to it (all my other tools shoot from pin nails to framing nails) I think it ... I ordered a reconditioned stapler as well as a reconditioned brad nailer so that I could get both for the price of one new. This stapler arrived on time, with all the accessories and has worked great so far. It has cut my build time for set pieces in half (at least). I am very pleased. Although "refurbished" it appeared that it was new with an r inscribed. Rating: - No Attention to DetailI ordered this gun based upon what I read on the internet. Since I did not plan on heavy use, a refurb seemed like the way to go. The unit arrived double boxed and the gun was inside a plastic carrying case. It looked okay. Inside the case was a manual and a new pair of safety glasses. No Allen Wrenches to service the unit. Not really a big deal. I have more than one set or wrenches anyway. But.... the gun had no tip! The no mar tip was nowhere to be found! The darned thing is bright orange! ... Read More |
