The color in the picture does not do these mills justice. The mills themselves are about 22 cm tall or 8.75 inches tall the metal knobs are not a significant part of the height, being that they blend in so well with the contours of the mill, but they are part of this measurement. It works well, but it wasn't really special. It does have great heft to it, just right. The matching set looks wonderful together. The Pepper Mill is brilliant.
