I cooked oval-shaped pasta in it last night for a pasta salad and was very pleased with the results, and the ease of use. I haven't seen the infomercials about this cooker, so I was surprised at how much it can do. It has two steamer inserts. I plan to try steaming shrimp in it, with beer in the bottom, and to poach salmon.
