Rating: - Great Moments OnlyBuddy Guy remains one of the few artists that I actually track CD release dates. Silvertone has done wonders for his well deserved career creating some of the best music regardless of preference for blues or guitar rock. The first half of this CD is terrific, especially the first two tracks- a classic, paint peeling Buddy jam followed by a great ensemble with Trucks and Tedeschi. His voice is really show-cased on the tune, Skin Deep. Overall, just an excellent CD. Rating: - "Buddy,s Baddest" ain't the Baddest no mo ! ! !I always felt "Buddy,s Baddest" was his best release,and it's hard to beat a "Best Of compilation" BUT Buddy's done it,& all in one blues soaked disc with NO Throw-out songs that he himself produced,,"Buddy You Should Have Had That Job All Along Apparently" ! !
