Editorial Review:

People en Español:
Los Lonely Boys have an impressive sound, on CD or in concert. Sound will never be a problem for this group, but although Forgiven is well executed technically, Los Lonely Boys have been doing the same song over and over for years. If you have listened to three of their songs, you have heard them all. This CD is no different. It's the same usual rock/pop with a few Latin touches in the Santana style. It's good that the group has a signature sound, but it doesn't mean that it's alright to make the same album time and again. Should Los Lonely Boys adventure to perform other genres, they will surely have an impact, as they did when they first came out, but Forgiven is a forgettable album. --Ernesto Sánchez (People en Español People en Español)

--Ernesto Sánchez (People en Español People en Español)

Album Description:

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Another great fusion of Latin and Blues Music!
Los Lonely Boys definitley have found a really, great formula for success. This great fusion of latin/blues music shows all the sides of Los Lonely Boys. It Shows their sides of spiritual, redemption, and hope for a better tomorrow.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - "Forgiven" is the best Los Lonely Boys album YET!
It's hard to improve on perfection, but the creative genius that IS Los Lonely Boys continues to impress - album after album. 10.0 Olympic Scoring !

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - stick to the earlier stuff
This album sounds like a watered down version of far fresher, far more interesting earlier work. What happened? Dunno. In a nutshell, my advice: Stick with the early stuff. It's way better. More interesting. Los Lonely Boys need to move forward, not regurgitate the past.
