 Rating:  - A good product for the price!I received this scanner about 4 months ago as a gift and whenever I have the time, I scan 100 of my 1400 plus slide collection. I had trouble running it on my XP computer as I ran out of memory. I have since purchased a Vista PC and it works fine. Although some of the slides scan a little on the dark or light side, for the most part, they come out pretty darn good, especially when you consider some of them are over 40 years old. We had boxes of old slides in our basement for years that we never got to look at. Now that we have this scanner, he's scanned in hundreds of slides to his computer. Alas I didn't do my research before buying a slide scanner, or I would have realized there were much better scanners on the market for the same price or less.
