![]() Rating: - fun gameMy son and daughter put together their "Christmas" present to buy this game. My daughter is a "travel" hockey player and her brother plays "house" but they are both big fans of both the "real" game and this video game. Every day my son tells me who he has "signed". Keeps them sharp in between practices and ice games! Rating: - Disappointing NHL debut on the WiiIt's about time that we got an NHL game on the Wii, and NHL 2K9 is here to be just that. Boasting controls that take advantage of the Wii-mote, NHL 2K9 sounds promising, but sadly it doesn't quite deliver the way that it should. Havent played it since, Graphics, lol, cant even read the writing the graphics are so bad. my teams a what? 85 overall? what? everything looks like 8s with shadows. LOL Rating: - Mannequins with sticks.I think my cellphone has better graphics than this game. It is amazing that anyone rated this game more than two stars. The players all have this greyed out shaded look - and they all look stiff and characterless. Movements are stiff and robotlike. Announcers are lame. Gameplay is routine. Wii controls are a bit of a step back compared to playing with a plain old controller. 2K Sports should give a refund to all who buy this poor excuse for a hockey game. Played NHL 08 on the PC and THAT was 100 times ... Read More Rating: - HMMMMI was looking foreward to this game for so long. After getting it and playing it for one day I have to say I am very disappointed in it. Graphics are crummy you cant read printed stuff on the scrren, the players all look alike and look as if they all have dark tans. Then there is the choppyness of the action on ice, at points during play the game sputtered and jumped. The instruction manual, ha what joke 5 pages of nothing , didnt realy explain anything outside of using the controls. ... Read More |
