So far three of my fellow workers took the plunge. Loaded XP-PRO and all is fine. Don't expect to use this as your main word machine. It fills the void when you don't need or want to lug a monster around. It boots up faster than my other two Asus laptops. And the 80 GB hard drive is plenty roomy.
