- A Must Read This book is beyond any words that I can type as a review. But I believe that I owe it to this world to at least express that I found this book to be priceless. If there is ever a gift that you can give to someone you love, it is this book. It will benefit your love ones far more than any financial gift that you could dream of giving. Again, because there are not many words to express my deep, deep appreciation of this gift, I will simply say that it is definitely for those who are open to more than what they see with the naked eye. As you can read from many reviews on this site, people are so identified with their religion, among many other things, that they can't grab a hold to a concept that is this simple, this admirable, this priceless, and this peaceful. Tolle, you may never know my level of gratitude. Rating: - The Truth Shall Set You Free!!This book is awesome. I first came across Eckhart Tolle because he wrote the introduction of another book I purchased. This book will give you a clear understanding of the ego, the habits of the mind that get us caught in routines that are the cause of much suffering, and this book will help you examine yourself. This book is easy to read, very easy to understand, and you will be saying "yes, yes, yes, how true" as you read it! This book is simple, beautiful Truth. I think people often buy spiritual books because they are looking for something dramatic and earth-moving, or they are looking for something they consider to be profound, etc. But this book is Truth....Truth that is already here. Truth is simple and it is here....you simply have to awaken to it and see it. This is a must read!! Rating: - A must readThis Book will change you to becoming a consious living person, and therefore preventing chaos in your life, and therefore in the The World! You need to read this book slowly and profoundly to be part of the new earth!! Rating: - When The Student is Ready...The Teacher Will Appear!I Was & Am Ready! If you are Strong enough to lose your own ego...Wise enough to take direction, Compassionate enough to contribute positively to the world, Brave enough to step out of your tiny little box...Then read this book! Take what you can use...And then USE what you take! Rebecca K. Drnjevic Yeah Buts The Little Book of Big Excuses Rebecca's Writing,LLC Rating: - McBuddhismAs the title of my review indicates, this book is to philosophy what chicken nuggets are to fine dining. Tolle is an egotistic flake and his book is a cheap rip-off of Eastern philosophy. His dramatic pretenses at enlightenment, i.e. dead pan stare and drone-like speech, remind me of the scene inside a Buddhist monastery in Jim Carey's Ace Ventura. What a joke. Oprah has gone off the New Age deep end.
