Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Tao of Jeet Kune Do

Excellent study guide into the mind of Master Bruce Lee! This book is for the true Martial Artist........Tao of Jeet Kune Do

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - book
This was puirchased for my youngest son,13, saw Bruce Lee's movie & became very interested in his practice of martial arts.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - mma + streetfighters -read this.
no style is new---
This book shows the research of Bruce lee's personally preferred fighting methods. it is of course incomplete. Covers modern boxing, trapping, kicking and yes even grappling. As well as his philosophy. The JKD stance worked for Bruce, same as a square stance works for Bas (book does not cover square stance). Will it work for you? Try it and see. P.S. You will also notice the corkscrew punch is the same punch employed by fedor and liddell. Bruce didn't invent the punch, but he used it.
--- no style is better.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good Book

Nice reading about Bruce Lee's philosophy in fighting methods and life in general.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Master
OPEN YOUR MIND, be a better person.

This book has
Instructions not how to fight, but how to be a better person.
There will always be a "master" "grandmaster" whatever.....
Those are not Masters in my definition.

A master is one who knows and who can teach,
and share his teaching fully.
This book doesn't have all of Bruce Lee's thoughts, and philosophy.
But it is better than nothing.

I took 6 years of Kung Fu, and my Sifu does not have an open mind.
Doesn't teach the philosophy, the reasons, how to be better.

The knowledge from this book will open your mind, and make you a wiser
person. (but you must be willing to be ready as a student.)

If your teacher, Sifu, Sensei, is not reading this, or not teaching
you how to be better -
You need to read this.

Rule 1 in life is learn,
Rule 2 is become better.

This book helps.
Bruce Lee the Master - he teaches us here.

Yes we have to pay for education.

I saw his funeral, of what the Hong Kong TV news was broadcasting
back as it happened. Never understood the loss of this society until now.
