Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - if you want the real scoop...
The comments posted here are all over the map; there is obviously something going on here. If you want the real scoop on this product, check out the excellent in depth review here: http://llt.msu.edu/vol8num3/review1/default.html. Its all you need (and then some) to draw your own conclusion.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Nice
We are beginners and it is a family affair with 4 kids ranging from ages 2-10. So far so good. We are just following the set plan and teaching them the same way they learned their first language. My wife and I learn the lesson first and then teach our children. I highly recommend it.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Tech support? What tech support?
After reading shining reviews about Tell Me More Spanish, it seemed like a good learning program. It offered all features found in other systems and was cheaper. In fact, even their tech support was touted as great.

Unfortunately, I didn't experience that. Our system (well above the minimum standards) was unable to run the program, despite it being almost entirely done in Flash. The documentation is almost non-existent, the online help is trivial at best, and the tech support team consists (apparently) of one person.

After leaving several messages unreturned and writing an e-mail, we eventually gave up and returned the software.

I can't say the actual program is bad, as it actually seemed like it was going to be a good learning experience, but the inability to get it to work combined with the non-existent documentation simply left a sour taste towards TMM.

Eventually, we did get an e-mail response with a simple fix to the problem (apparently our sound card was incompatible, though I can't figure out why), but it came too late.

Hopefully, Tell Me More will work for most people, but good luck if you have a problem getting the software to run.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Useful program
I learned beginner Spanish in a month with 3-4 hours a day with this program, it saved me a semester of school.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Completely forgets one thing
How hard would it be to make it work on linux? Not that hard at all actually. It's not even mac compatible.
