Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not a good design
I bought it recently but got dissapointed with it immediatley. Assembly is easy. Not very heavy but it requires incredible force for slightly longer grass. The angle of the push handle is not optimum and can not be adjusted. I am 5'4" and found it extremely hard to push it. Had to return it after an hour of use. Realised it is not for me.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent Green choice
My yard has about 2000 sqft of lawn. It takes 30 mins to mow it with this reel mower. This mower is very light and performs very well. I do not miss my gas powered mower at all.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 20" reel mower
I read all the reviews and after 3-4 weeks research and reading decided to buy a used one for $50 on Craig's List in case all the negatives were true. They weren't. No set-up problems as it was already assembled. It cuts very well. MUCH easier to push than my power mower as it is weighs a lot less. Cuts a slightly narrower path but so easy and fast to push, it still takes less time. It doesn't like grass over 6" but just turn around and go over it again. It doesn't like branches but branches aren't good for power mowers either. No gas, no smell, no noise, no pulling recoil starters, no oil to change, no flying grass. Shoulda done this years ago!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Over-rated
It seems obvious that the other reviews are written by dealers trying to sell these things that they have in stock.
If this was a wonderful perfect world it might all work.
Unless every blade of grass is a certain height and you mow on the right day, this will give terrible results. I rent and have several types of grass in this yard, nothing I can do about it!
Well you can sure tell the differentce when you finish (if you want to call it that) mowing. Each variation is amplified visually with they way this mower cuts.. if at all.
I HAVE used these mowers before on really nice grass. They do work.
But unless you have very uniform conditions. Stick to a gas mower.
Now I have both and no market to rid myself of this Scotts Pusher.
Nobody wants it and I can't show them how nice it works .. because I have odd grass. I wish the others had been more honest about them in the reviews. I would have known it was not good for my lawn.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Throw Away Your Gas Mower
This is a nice mower. It cuts the grass effortlessly with a clean cut.

My gas mower on the other hand seems to scalp the grass with an uneven cut causing trauma that causes it to dry out and loose moisture near the cut.

This reel mower can be push along effortlessly and does a great job. No gas needed and is clean for the environment and with no noise. You can cut grass early Sunday morning without waking up the neighbors.

It does not cut tall weeds.
