 - Great pruning snips for herb gardens.I ordered these pruning snips to use with my herb garden based on the small size of the cutting tip and the price. Pros: 1. Small cutting tip works great for getting in between different plants. 2. Small size is comfortable in hand. 3. Symmetrical, so it doesn't matter which way you pick it up to use. 4. Well placed and easy to use switch - accessible from both sides. 5. Spring loaded. 6. Safety cap easy to put on/take off. Cons: None yet. Periodically add a light coat of oil to the cutting tip to keep rust from forming. I have not seen any rust on my snips, but a little preventive maintenance is always good. Since I use my snips for herbs, I use vegetable oil. Rating: - Great SnipThe Fiskars Micro-tip pruner is super for "buds off" when too many on peach limb, great for the apples they bud in groups of 5 and for snipping veggies and herbs... Rating: - Great Pruner!These Fiskars pruner are so easy to use when doing floral arrangements. They do not easily cut thick stems (like roses) but are great with carnations, mums, etc. Rating: - A long-lasting bargain!Received these small, light snippers by Fiskars as a gift years ago, and would have never guessed that they would still be serviceable years later. They have proven to be far more rugged than expected, and though showing their age now, the stainless steel blades have maintained a surprising amount of sharpness. Must note that it's the handles of these things that are the best part. The cushioned grips are more ergonomic and better designed for comfort than so many gardening snippers and cutters. Add to that, they're actually ambidextrous... left-handed people who pick up mine are amazed how well they fit the hand. And the blades have a convenient lock, one that actually works. Have never had small snippers last as long as these. Will probably have to replace them in the next year or so, but as they've been so reliable and since the price is so good, won't even think twice about it. Giving them 5-stars for quality, versatility, longevity and price. Rating: - Fiskars Softouch Micro-tip PrunerThis small pruner is ideal for pruning small plants, where the larger pruner might be unwieldy. Particularly useful for the constant dead-heading necessary to keep flowering plants at their best. Love it!
