- The grill is great, the price...not so nice!I purchased this grill for my mom for an upcoming family barbeque! I stopped by and we tried it out with excellent results! We stopped by one of the club/bulk buy stores to purchase more things to test on it and I ran into the exact same product for less than half the price. So my experience is bittersweet, love the grill...hate the price. Rating: - Has worked great! This has been a handy grill on my patio. We've all heard the health warnings - charred meat can be carcinogenic - no more charcoal and flames. Miss a little of that taste, but o.k. Rating: - Awesome Grill Indoors & OutWorked just as advertised. This is especially nice to have when you don't want to go through the trouble of firing up the pit. Rating: - Perfect grill for condo or apartment living!I've had this grill for about 3 months and absolutely love it. We use it around twice a week. So far its worked perfectly since day one. It heats up fast & is pretty easy to clean. I prefer to use it outside... the first (and last) time I used it inside it made a HUGE mess. Other than that this grill has been a dream come true! Stop thinking about it & BUY THIS GRILL!!!! Rating: - A wonderful indoor grillI love George Foreman grills. I have two of them. One is a flat grill with a lid on and the other is GGR50B that I am writing a review about. I purchased GGR50B January when heavy snow downed all over the city and it was my oldest's birthday. It was easy to set up and operate for a person like me who do not know much about machenical stuff. Setting up the grill was actually done within 5 minutes. I was a little worried about the electricity bill coming the next month. However, I was so surprised to notice that the bill the month came out to be as much as it used to be. Rather a lot of saving compared to using our traditional gas oven, with which I had to pay hundreds of $$ for a few times of cooking. This grill is a great energy saver! When you set the temperature to 350 - 400, it heats up to the setting in a minute and hibernates itself unless you open up the lid too often. Our electric bill never goes over $40-$50 a month, which is a lot cheaper than using a gas oven that used to make me pay $200-250 a month. The truth is electricity is cheapter than gas!!! Now i have paid off the gas bill that was a little behind, and never need to use the gas oven again! I cook meat, pizza, fish sticks, cheese sticks, hamburgers, buns, rice( put rice in a little steal pot and put the pot on the grill ), picnic pork shoulder, and anything I could imagine is possible with this George Foreman GGR50B grill. Cons: Too bad the lower body is made of plastic. If it was made of steal and was compatible with charchoal use, this grill would be the best grill ever.
