Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - best baby toy so far!!
I picked up this toy at a yard sale, only because it said it was "the best baby toy ever", and I have to agree. Our Child is only 4 months old, and every since we got (when she was 2 months old) it has entertained her. If she is crying we press the button, and she stops and just stares at it. Now she is starting to wave her arms and squeal when it is playing. I'm sure this will be a toy she will love for a long time.
Also, it not only entertains our daughter, but the cats love it to. :)

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Great idea - but it doesn't work very well...
We purchased this for my 10 month old. The idea is wonderful, but the balls don't land in the tray after they pop out - they fly and bounce out and roll across the floor instead. This toy will not function unless you are there to pick each ball up as it flies out and drop it back into the tray. My son still loves it, and although he can push the button, he cannot play with it by himself because all of the balls are out of the toy within about 10 seconds.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Loads of fun for the kids, Loads of work for the parents
My mom bought this toy for my 16 mo old son when he was just under 1 year old. He loved it, and it was especially fun watching him learn how to turn it on himself by pressing the red button. The advantages of this toy are that it taught my son cause-effect. He loves the music and he laughs when watching the balls fly out. He also enjoys putting them back in again. The disadvantages are that the balls fly everywhere. So, if I am not there to chase after all of them, then it's a pretty useless toy. At first, I thought it was a malfunction that the balls flew out of control rather than popping up just enough to fall back into the catch basin at the top of the toy. But, then I read in the instructions that this was supposed to be a "fun" part of the toy. I am constantly fishing these balls out from corners of the room and from under the furniture. But, if the balls are all in place, my son thoroughly enjoys this toy!

One other thing to mention to anyone thinking of buying this toy--Playskool does not sell the balls independently of the toy. So, if you lose them or if you dog chews them up (like mine did), you cannot replace them. I found this to be annoying, especially since the toy purposefully shoots the balls out so that you have to chase them down and they can very easily get lost.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - 1st Time Mom (Ooh Wee)
I purchased this toy for my son's first birthday and he loves it. At a year, he could operate the toy all by himself. His little face just light up when he see the balls popping. The music is cool too. The balls will pop out and roll over the floor. I find the balls all over the place but both he and I love the toy. I would recommend this one.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Frightened my son
This toy scared my 11 month old son. It was too difficult for him to keep track of the balls and it overwhelmed him. Also, the music and blowing sound are very loud and annoying. It's in the closet until he's older.
