 - DO NOT GETUNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! I am an avid player of XB Live and can tell you from experience that it is the most aggravating thing to be killed by a person who buys skill. ONLY THOSE WITH THE LOWEST MORAL FIBER AND INTEGRITY WOULD DO THIS! On the issue of non-XB Live things, that's your own thing BUT PLEASE!! Use this only for in game stuff and keep the cheating out of the On-Line Community. I can only hope that Ubi and the other companies with online games will create a counter to this Replay deal. Until then, the only possibility of this cheating and lack of integrity is the person themselves. Rating: - MAN how frustrating...BUYER BEWARE. This thing could be useful, if it WORKED. Just a little background on why I bought it, then what happened: I was at about 70% on Grand Theft Auto, and was sick of looking for "hidden packages" and such. I wanted 100%. so i order this thing. when i get it, I immediately try it out. I install the software and the Docking Station (the transfer device that you plug the given 8mb card into) I insert the provided 8mb xbox memory card. Then transfer the GTA VC 100% save. Take the card to my Xbox and stuff it into a controller. transfer it to the Xbox's hard-drive (like an idiot) overwriting my game on the hard drive. try to play the game... guess what... my save file is damaged... I spent 2 hours un/re-installing, trying different controllers, trying any concievable method to get this thing working... if only i have visited codejunkies.com's forums FIRST... In the Xbox section, almost EVERY topic is about how it DOES NOT WORK. Their suggestion is to send Datel your memory card, and they will replace it "free of charge" .... but where's the compensation for shipping on my end? .... where's the compensation for me waiting another 2 to 4 weeks to even USE this thing? why is it standard practice to have to ship a BRAND NEW product out for repair? why was there no recall since they KNOW these cards are faulty?... The questions regarding their methods are endless. My advice, don't be an idiot like me, research a little deeper before even thinking about buying this "product". Rating: - DOESNT EVEN WORKOkay i got the action replay for madden rosters and for names on Ncaa rosters. Well i load on a roster i downloaded. Corrupt. I get somones that he got directly from his xbox. Didnt work. dont get this whatever you do. Its a terrible product. Getting it to work is like playing Russian Roulette. Who knows if it will go. I think Datel did a terrible job and slacks off since their main product doesnt work. Bottom line DONT BUY IT. Rating:  - Doomed from the StartI'm an unabashed cheater. I like having infinite health so that I can sail into a series of moves repeatedly without getting whacked by my own clumsiness. Or recovering that lost object that I accidentally blew up when I fragged the castle. On many occasions, being able to hack the game has enhanced my overall enjoyment. Unfortunately, the Xbox was designed to stop cheating. Not cheating at the game, but cheating as in hacking and illegally copying games. As a result, it is impossible to bypass the code logic in order to insert some instructions that change game data in an active way. The end result is that they have stopped all cheating. A company like Action Replay is only left with one alternative - providing game saves that will get you by a playing problem. Unfortunately, this generally means that you don't get to actually play through parts of the game. So. At best, this is a compromise solution. One I can't get all that excited about. Cheating is OK. But not playing the game the way you want to is counter productive. This package includes a CD with software for both the Xbox and you Windows 98 or better PC (required). Included is an 8 megabyte memory cartridge and a USB based cartridge holder for the PC. Basically you collect saved games from either the CD or online, install them on the cartridge and then tote it over to the Xbox, where you can use it. Before you get a glint in your eye about file editing, let it be known that the software uses a compression scheme that can be uncompressed, but will not work if it is recompressed. Hopefully, some underhanded hacker will find a way around this, but right now this is a lowest common denominator type solution. And not a particularly useful one. Rating:  - Action ReplayI think that the action replay is great because it really enhances your game play when you are stuck on something. It's also really cool because there are so many games listed on it for you to download..
