- Space bags are good for single use onlyAs another review stated, bags are prone to micro-tears and are easily perferated with very light contact compromising the vacuum seal. Not worth the money, but yes, a good idea. Rating: - 0 star rating is more appropriateWaste of money. The seams are weak. They tear easily. Wish I had read these reveiws before I bought mine from Walmart. I'm so disappointed. It's a great idea, but does not work as is. Please don't waste your money!!!! Rating: - My space bags are working well for 2 monthsI bought the "3 large with bonus travel bag" package. I filled two of them with my clothes. They have not lost air in the past two months since they were filled. In fact, they look exactly the same. I am very satisfied and bought some recently to shrink up a huge blanket. It is one-third the original size. I think they work great. It's nice to be able to store clothes on the garage shelves in the space bags. Humidity is not good for fabrics and they normally need to be stored indoors. My storage areas inside are very limited so for me this product is very useful. Rating: - Don't botherGreat idea, but the bags are cheaply made and often just won't seal. Wasted money and lots of frustration. Rating: - GOOD IDEA BUT BAD PRODUCTMy mother recommended this product to me a few years ago so I decided to try them. The principle sounds good but the proof is in the pudding. The Space Bag is just poorly made. The material is just too thin and prone to pinpricks and tears. I pasted on so much ducked tap to seal tiny holes that were letting air in that they soon resembled a patchwork quilt. The sealing tab ripped the plastic to the point that I could no longer use it to seal the bag. It didn't matter much since it seldom sealed the bag anyway. Even when the bag did seem to work as promised I noticed after about a few hours that the vacuum had totally failed. This is just a waste of money.
