- A Little Unexpected...As an old NES gamer, I figured the game would stick with the original SFX, at the very least. Its a great game if you don't feel like hauling your laptop or your clunkily ancient NES system around, but for me, it was a little unexpected. The game's saving system is really akward, and I have yet to fully understand it. However, it is a good game to have for the Advance in that its a classic and just rocks in general. The NES mario games made video game history, and will always be around. From the shipping standpoint, it came with a case, but no box. I prefer that in the fact that its less weight i have to pay shipping for and it's a smaller package. It arrived in a timely fashion and was in pretty much perfect condition. There is a screen in the front that says something about a data corruption, yet it states that everything is ok. I don't know if that's just part of the game or if thats just me. Anyhow, great buy. Thanks for giving me my memories back! Rating: - fast shipping; great servicercvd game in 3 days w/o manual; emailed seller and rcvd manual in 2 days. great service. Rating: - Awesomee game!!If you are a big mario fan...i would highly recommend this game. You can get mario to be a bear, a frog, fly spit fire, throw hammers. This game is excellent and will definetly keep you playing for weeks Rating: - Nothing's changedI loved this game as a kid and I still love it now...it's exactly the same is when it was on old school nintendo...i love it:) Rating: - Play Super Mario 3 Anywhere!Used though it may be, I have been very happy with my Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 cartridge. One of the biggest disadvantages of the original Game Boy - in my opinion - was that none of the original Game Boy cartridges were portable versions of games available on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Don't get me wrong; Super Mario Land and Super Mario Land 2 were great games, but who could beat being able to take Super Mario Bros. anywhere? The Game Boy Advance SP changed that. Now, older gamers such as myself who remember the "golden age" when Super Mario Bros. 3 was considered "new school" gaming can play anywhere. The production values (if that term applies to gaming) are very high with this cartridge. Everything on this cartridge - the overworld maps, the individual levels, the music - are all as they were back in 1990 when we first popped our Super Mario Bros. 3 cartridges into our NESs and started playing. The only real difference is that this is a port of the Super Nintendo's Super Mario All-Stars version of Super Mario Bros. 3. That may disappoint some gamers, but I found the slightly enhanced music and graphics to be as enjoyable as the original game. Great stuff! I recommend it for anyone who's interested in REAL Mario games and not the syrupy, kid-oriented, crappy Mario games (AHEM Super Mario Sunshine AHEM) we see today
