- Blokus - a game for the whole family! We all play this game - even my preschooler - and have a blast. It can be played by two players, but all four colors need to be played so each person takes two colors. My kids don't like this much, but it goes okay for older kids and adults. Overall I recommend this game for anyone, especially people who love puzzles. Rating: - "Travel" Blokus good game for two playersI love this game. I wish my kids liked it more -- they do like it but not as much as I do. We had the original Blokus for several months and enjoyed it quite a bit, but you really need four players, and it was rare we had exactly that many wishing to play. You can play with fewer but only if one or more players plays two colors. The original doesn't work at all if you just leave one of the colors out. So Travel Blokus was a great addition -- it only has two colors and therefore can be played by just two people. So we have both -- the original for full family fun, and travel Blokus for when I can only talk ONE of my children into playing this with me. I will add that if you are a Blokus Master you will find that you need to retune your strategies for this game. The smaller board and fewer colors requires a different approach if you want to CRUSH YOUR OPPONENT. Or, you know, be able to defend yourself against a whiz-kid 8 year old. Rating: - Great buy! This is by far an amazing product. My whole family, including 8 and 6 year old kids, love it. We introduced the game to our friends and they too were hooked. I highly recommend this product to anyone! Rating: - Great game for the whole familyThe first time I played Blokus I was at a pot-luck gathering at Church. This game has very simple rules and only takes a minute to learn how to play. I had so much fun playing this game that I knew I had to get one for my family. I now play with my three kids (ages 6 and 5 - twins) regularly and we all love it. Rating: - Wow this is a great gameI have a 9 year old and a 6 year old and they both love to play this game. It teaches strategy and requires the players to think about what their next move is at each stage of the game. Some games when it isn't the players turn can't hold the kids attention because they role a dice and go a few places or pull a card and do what it says. This game requires the player to always pay attention and think about their next move. We have had so much fun we bought it for 2 other kids and they both love it as well.
