Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - WE LOVE BLOKUS, YOU WILL TOO!!!
We love blokus...and introduce it to everyone...our 4 1/2 year olds play it w/ us and it's fun and challenging for all of us. Very easy to learn.
I was getting tired of Candy Land and other boring kids games...this one is great...worth the $. Don't hesitate. buy it today!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Something Very Therapeutic About This Game!
This game is super fun and REALLY easy to learn. My son who has a hard time following game rules picked it up within minutes. Great for ALL ages. There is something very therapeutic about playing this game. We LOVE it!

Also great for little kids who can't really follow the game rules. They can just make designs with the tiles. It's just as fun!

NOTE: Be careful not to lose the pieces. They are very small and easy to miss. Try counting them before putting them back in the box.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Quick Strategy Game, But Don't Let Your Kids Play it in the Car!
First, I should say I have never played regular Blokus. That out of the way, we really did enjoy Travel Blokus. I was searching for a quick-to-learn strategy game for only two players. I purchased this (along with Othello - also recommended, but more difficult in my opinion) to fill that need. Travel Blokus was simple to learn, and each game only takes 10-30 minutes, depending on how long you agonize over your moves.

The reason I give it 4 stars instead of five is Semantics. The game is called "Travel" Blokus, and I defy anyone to try to use this successfully and without losing pieces (which would make the whole game useless) in a car or on a plane. "Two Player" Blokus would be a much better title.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - great game
it's a great family party game. our family loves games from grandparents to grandchildren. For the Christmas gift this year we all had to buy a board game for our families gift exchange. My brother Billy bought Blokus. A few of us sat down to play ages between 7 and 67 and it was fun, easy to play and no one got upset because they couldn't keep up and those who needed a challenge got one. Now it's March and at least 3 of us own it. We can play whose ever house we are at.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Terrific game.
I am usually the one suggesting we play this game though the kids enjoy it too, excepting my daughter who, at seven, dislikes games she cannot win. Technically, I think the kids could beat the grown-ups; the basic tactics are quite simple -- after that it's more about visualizing the spaces. Overall, a very satisfying (and peaceful) family game.
