Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Top 20 Games For The XBox!
XBox is a great system I tell you and now that its at a chopped price,it still has many great games.I have done my top 20 games for the PS2 and will do one for the GameCube, but heres the one for the XBox:

1)Halo Combat Evolved
2)Halo 2
3)Far Cry Instincts
4)Far Cry Instincts:Evolution
5)Half Life 2
6)The Chronicles Of Riddick:Butchers Bay
7)Doom 3:Special Edition(cos it also has Doom 1 and II)
8)Metal Gear Solid 2:Substance
9)Dead Or Alive 3
10)Fable
11)Fable:The Lost Chapters
12)Ninja Gaiden
13)Ninja Gaiden:Black
14)Ghost Recon 2
15)Ghost Recon 2:Summit Strike
16)Rainbow Six 3
17)Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory
18)Mercenaries Playground Of Destruction
19)Full Spectrum Warrior:Ten Hammers
20)BLACK

And yes there are many more such as Star Wars BattleFront,KOTOR but these are the top 20 imo. Most of these games are exclusive to XBox,console wise, but the few that are multiplatform such as GR2 suck on the PS2.

But I hope this helps anyone who is looking to buy an XBox,it is a good sytem, all these games I mention,I have finished them all and still play some of them now,I no longer play Halo 1 or 2,but i still play Far Cry and MGS2:S amongst others.

bye.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Great system thats now cheap.
Until the PS3 and Wii come out,XBox is the second most powerful console yet after the XBox 360.
I also have a PS2 and GameCube at home,I never intended to buy an XBox,not because I prejudged the system its just that I usually stick to one system and I only got a GameCube because my parents got me one for christmas two years ago and I love my `Cube and have something like 12 games for it and only one of them dissapoint me which is Monkey Ball because its boring as hell.

I saw the XBox cheap last week in a gameshop,it was priced at only 60 pounds NEW,so I gladly bought it,with one game,Dead Or Alive 3,which only costed me 10 pounds,so that 70 quid all together.Dead Or Alive 3 is a great game, but I admit I do prefer PS2`s Tekken games.

I intend to buy a couple of more games such as Halo,Far Cry,Half Life 2,The Chronicals of Riddick,Ghost Recon,Rainbow Six 3 and Lockdown and a couple of others. The XBox then should keep me entertained until quarter 4 of 2007 which is when I buy my first next-gen console,PS3.
I was actually considering buying XBox LIVE,but I figured the LIVE would be empty since everyone has upgraded to 360,so I might as well enjoy single player and traditional multi-controller multiplayer, lol.

Let me sum out the XBOX system:

Graphics:9/10:THE best graphics of last gen,and the secon best graphics now, that is until the PS3 and Nintendo Wii come out of coarse. But still, they are breathtaking and Far Cry is the best looking XBox game and it looks GREAT!

Games:8/10:
Well XBox is supposed to have a small library compared to the PS2,but nontheless has some GREAT games on it.

Soind:10/10:
Its great, you can put your own tracks on some of its games, what more should I say.

Reliability:9/10:
So far no problems, but I hope its not like the PS2 that the laser can break easily.

Price(for me):10/10:
Yeah, the price was low and I got 100% satisfaction from my XBox,all the games are under 30 quid, atleast the ones I want.

Controller:7/10:
Awww the XBox controller is quite hard to get used to,but I didn`t have that much of a problem because two gens ago,I had an N64 which also has a complex controller, but this controller is great for shooters and commanding games, aswell as others.

Portability:6/10:
You`d be joking if you thought this was portable, its a big massive brick!,its not as portable as PS2 or GameCube, but I don`t intend my XBox to ever leave my house.

Well goodbye,XBox is a must buy and is now cheap, but I`m not expecting alot from Upcoming games since XBox has nearly hit its deadline.Otherwise, focus on next-gen systems,XBox 360,Wii and PS3 OK.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Fantastic
It is the greatest video game system ever. It has the best games. I couldn't live without it or Halo. I can't wait to get an xbox 360.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Awesome system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was considering a Playstation 2 but I heard it overheated and broke down so I was faced with a decision get a system that might break down or a system that dosen't break down. To me this was a no brainer!!!! I'm very happy that I made the decision of buying the xbox.My advice is to buy the system!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - A womens point of view
I own a PS2 and an Xbox and I could careless about graphic, music or video up loads. To me both systems have great graphic depending on the game you play. And if you're not a big time gaming freak and are shopping for the 1st time for a gaming system I thought I'd list some facts about Xbox and PS2 that might help in your decision.

1. PS2 is thin you can fit it in your briefcase or beach bag when heading on vacation.

1.Xbox is rather large and heavy might not fit on some TV stands thin shelves

2.PS2 requires a memory card --sold separately--to save your games; big deal they cost $14 and I've had one for 3 years now and it's still not full because you can delete game off it to make run for new one.

2.Xbox has a built in memory -Nothing to purchase--to save your games; but it can only hold so much. Where you can buy as many memory cards for PS2 you want.

3.PS2 can play DVD, which is great when you're on vacation at a hotel the kid's get the game and you can watch movies at night

3.Xbox can not, although I think someone said you can buy an adapter for it but why do that if you already own a DVD player??

4.PS2 you can play online as long as you have a broadband connection for FREE

4.Xbox you can play online too with a broadband connection but you also you have to pay a monthly fee to play online

And most of all I am very disappointed in the games Xbox offers. I know all the guys who own Xbox are freaking saying "what are you talking about, you need to play Republic commando and Halo" Xbox only games. I have and all those killing games have wonderful graphics but I guess being a women I really do not care for those games.

I like games where I have to search for something, not just walk forward and kill anything in front of me. Although Battlefront is really fun which is available on PS2 and Xbox. But my favorite games are Sypro where you have to look for hidden treasure, and figure out mazes. Also I enjoy Kingdom Heart where you get to be Disney world characters (I know sounds girly) but you have to fight villains and it's very challenging you have to use your mind to figure out hidden section. But those games are ONLY available on Play station 2 you can not play them on Xbox. I have not been able to find any games that are exclusively for Xbox that I like, it seem the majority of Xbox only games are either sports or require you to kill someone great for guys.

If you're shopping for the 1st time for a gaming system I strongly suggest looking at the games 1st!!! If you find a few games that you really like that are only avaliable on Xbox then that is the system you should get, or maybe do like me and just get both PS2 and xbox. But if you can only get one; and if you can guess by my review, I think PS2 is much better.
