- The one I've been searching for!!This Grass Hog Trimmer is just what I wanted. I have bought others that just couldn't do the job. I have a large yard and so I use both of the batteries and have more than enough to get the job done. There is no more mixing gas, trying to start the motor and being exhausted before you even begin the job. This starts with the flick of a switch, is light weight and does a fantastic job!!! Just get it!!! I am a woman who does all the outside work and loves it!! Rating: - good investment; light and durable; not for big jobsI have used it for two years now. With a newly charged battery (charger and two batteries are supplied) it gives good RPM and power for about 10-15 minutes before it begins to slow down and only cut the small stuff. Each battery lasts about 15-20 minutes in continuous use. Aftere 35 minutes of wacking weeds I am ready to let it rest while it recharges. It is very light and easily adjustable. My only complaint is that the auto-feed line feature really chews up the line at a brisk pace. For this reason I buy big reels (300 feet of 0.065 line for $7 at Lowes rather than the expensive replacment reels from the manufacturer. All in all a very light and handy yard tool, well designed, and functional. Only improvement would be to tame the appetite of the line feed monster. Rating: - So far so goodI did a lot of research on grass trimmers. I settled on this one b/c I didn't want a cord or gas power. The battery lasted fine for me while I did all around the edges of my house and my tree. My arms did get tired by the end. I think it was just a different angle than what I am used to b/c I carry around a child all day long who is 20 pounds. At any rate, plenty of power. Did just what I wanted it to do. Easy to put together. I did buy mine at Home Depot b/c I had a coupon so it was cheaper than amazon plus I got to hold it and see how to operate it before purchase. For the people who are getting whipped by the feed, I think you must have forgot to take the tape off of the cutter that is on the edge that prevents the feed from going past the guard. Try that so you don't weed whack yourself!!! Rating: - ok but not to goodi bought this unit and the battery has no run time it works for about 20 min and craps out the battery gets hot the auto line feed is a little iffy at best. it is ok but buyer beware if you have a big yard with long grass and weeds good luck!! for grooming and edging A+ driveway weeds B- 6"grass B 12" grass D- weeds F- over all light use unit cordless conveanence but lacks power :( Rating: - Could have used one of these years agoLove it! It makes weed-wacking an easy job. It's light weight and powerful. Can do my yard on one battery charge.
