 - Excellent product!We purchased a new home and I chose this product based on alot of reviews I read online. We were not disappointed! It is excellent! Its easy to use, lightweight and the battery life has not been a problem. I would highly recommend it! Rating:  - NICE!Does real well on grass and small weed trimming. Plenty of power for this use. I keep one battery charged and exchange as needed. Light and easy to use with very little noise. Changing a spool is a snap. Rating: - better than expected!this thing is great. i have an average yard, and it does every thing i need. it trims and edges great, its not for clearing forest,but for the average suburan yard it works great. with 2 batteries that i charge over night before i use each time i have yet to have to reach for the 2nd battery. the only thing i can't comment on is how easy it is to change the cutting line, because i have not used the spool it came with, but it reels its self out just great. would but a gain no problem. try it you will like it. Rating: - Definitely the way to go.I must say I'm very happy with this purchase. For years I used an electric trimmer and I got so tired of extension cords I could have screamed. I've never has a gas powered one and with the way gas prices are going, I don't think I'd want one either. Right out of the box this thing was a breeze to get set up. The only thing that was kind of hard was the round black part at the bottom must be screwed in and the screws are a pain in the &*(^*(&() to screw in. Otherwise, it's perfect for my yard, the battery holds its charge for the whole time I use it. On my old trimmer when the line broke I'd have to take the bottom off and get more string to feed out. I don't know about the tapping thing, that never seemed to work on my old one. This one? I don't have to tap it or even bother with the string; it just feeds out by itself. Its user friendly but a little heavy on the battery end. Still, I recommend this for the environmentally conscious and those who don't want to mess with extension cords or (gasp) gasoline. Rating: - Satisfied customerThe Black&Decker trimmer is great.Easy to use,and light-weight.Does a fine job of cutting,and is simple to re-charge.
