Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - amazing!
If you've ever played a myst game before and enjoyed it, there is no question. BUY THIS GAME! Some of the puzzles are extremely hard, and you have to make sure you download the patches from the games website. The environments are so detailed and lush I can't imagine how it must have been created. The movements appear much clearer than the movements in Exile, with so many detailed moving objects. A great new feature is a camera that you can use during the game to record important clue images in your environments. Some of the acting is a little corny but that kind of just adds to the surreal feel. All in all this is a GREAT game. Be prepared to play for months.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Engaging and immersive...
Just finished Revelation. I can't say I did it 100% on my own, but with a little assistance from time to time from Internet walkthroughs, I am satisfied with the outcome. Some of the puzzles in this installment are difficult. Just a hint; take care to record everything throughout the game, since the later solutions were found in seemingly obscure clues in other ages earlier in the game. A nice touch on Revelation is the snapshot camera. Potential clues to later puzzles can be photographed and a device keeps track of your snapshots. Endlessly useful and allows for many less written notes than earlier Myst installments. My problem was that I didn't record some key clues in the form of snapshots, so I was missing this information later in the game. My recommendation is: take photos of everything. The movie cuts in Revelation draw you into the Myst world and the use of live actors in well played cut scenes really make you feel like a part of the story. Even with the occasional help, I still felt like I accomplished something at the end of the game. Movement through the ages in Revelation are by click and redraw, but the ability to look around is better than earlier Mysts. There is plenty of live action rather then just being presented with photographs. Each installment gets better and better in this regard.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - better games Than this! try uru. but myst 4 interesting ok game
good overall game but some hard puzzles to solve. go online to find a few cheats and you'll be good at this game. fun challenging, but could of been better. I really like myst URU the complete chronicles. now thats a fun game.. more than ever worlds and things to explore. will keep you going. myst 4 revelations is pretty hard but compareable to other myst games. if you have played most of the myst games. you will like this. but not as much. fun game....for myst fans..

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not for the whole family
Great storyline, great puzzles, great game altogether.

However, I'm surprised to find profanity (Achenar's Journal) and somewhat disturbing images of of a "kidnapping" (Memory Chamber flashbacks) in this game. Did they 'really' have to put this in there?

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Myst Revelation
Great graphics. Interesting story line.Seems like it would appeal to multiple age groups - haven't finished playing it but my son and I are both hooked.
