- Fun toyMy son loved this item. It is nice and portable too so that you can move it around. The only negatives..the boats that come with it do not float and the water wheel does not attach securely so he never keeps it on the table. It is great for having fun with water though. Rating: - Fun for ToddlersEasy to put together and great fun for toddlers. Only holds 4 gallons of water, so it is easy to set up. Rating: - I got mine for $19 at ToysRUs[...] I bought two, one for us and one for my niece's 2 year old. I think it's nicely built, easy to assemble and should last a long time. The wheel is just sitting in the table, not connected, so it's removed or comes out easily. It's not too fragile and even though It is easily removed, I'm not concerned about it holding up; but's not what my kids play with anyway. They love the boats and the cup to carry the water arround and just splashing around the water. It's a big hit and I'm really glad that I got it. It was a nice birthday gift. Try to buy it right, but either way, I don't think you won't be disappointed with it. Rating: - My 2yr old loves this toyMy two year received this a few months ago and loves it. it is durable, easy to keep clean and keeps her entertained. if it wasnt for this she would be at the bathroom sink playing water making a water mess all over! my 5 yr old also will play this too, but doesnt hold the attention as long as my 2 yr old. would definately recommend. Rating: - Fun, imagination-oriented, creative outdoor play. Highly recommend! We've had the water table for a year now and our two boys (3 and 1) love it. It's one of their favorite things to do outside (I personally couldn't imagine having them use it inside because of all the splashing). They will literally spend hours playing with it -- my older son will act out his own version of 'Shark Tales' with little plastic fish from our beach toys. It's light enough to easily move around the yard, has held up just fine to heavy use, and is very easy to keep clean just by dumping the water out at the end of the day and occasionally wiping it out. We typically store it in our shed rather than leaving it outside full time. We haven't had any problems with the leaking others mention. As far as the waterwheel and the boats, I think they're perfectly fine. There's no need for the waterwheel to lock down, it's good motor skill practice for the kids to assemble it themselves and to learn to be gentle with it so it doesn't fall over. The boats get a lot of use, and our kids also bring other toys outside to play with in the table. We frequently comment that it's been one of the best toy investments we've made, and I love that it encourages such creative, imaginary play.
