No need to use cassette, since the cradle has a built in FM modulator. The quality of sound through the car stereo is awesome, and when traveling, there is no need to change channels on the radio. Rating: - Perfect Replacement for older XM kit.For under $12 this kit allowed me to contiue to use my older XM unit. If you check around you will find that the antenna alone sells for $25+. Fantastic deal. Rating:  - Very good. I'd use this again.This car adapter kit works well, the sound quality is good, and I'm very happy I was able to get one. Only complaint is that I wish they came with more pad to stick it to your dashboard (they can melt in the hot sun and cause the holder to come off of your dashboard)
