 - Orbit Lawn & Garden Hose Digital Watering Timer And Valve #62001I was trying to avoid having to install an electric powered watering timer and did research on battery powered watering timers. Most of the reviews indicated that this product worked very well. I purchased in June 2008 and the product has held up very well even in 108+ deg days in sunny Arizona. The control module is very easy to remove from the valve unit in order to program, programming is easy and the unit takes two 9V batteries. Great product!! I highly recommend. Rating: - easy on the pocket and the mindthis is my 4th water controler... it is by far the easyest to program...the best value for the dollar...I have wasted a lot of money on other timers that have failed and were very frustrating to program...I will recomend this product to everyone... It is professional in appearance and construction. The programming is well thought out and simple to accomplish. Furthermore, you can remove the programming unit and take it to a comfortable place to set it up. I have tried two different Melnor products which were not only cheaply constructed, but in both cases had manufacturing defects and didn't work. Rating:  - No pressureI installed my timer and the valve would open, but with hardly any downstream pressure. I called Orbit and they suggested I return the timer, which I did and asked for a replacement. The replacement came, and same thing. Valve opens, and the water just trickles out the downstream side. I'm very disappointed. One faulty part I can understand, but two in a row?
