Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Not Bad for XBox
This is a great upgrade from MVP 2003. I personally like the MVP 2005 over the 2K6 game. If you like EA Sport, you will love this game.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - How do you aim your bat?
I don't get it? There's no target to zoom in on the ball to hit it? What are you supposed to do? In the past I have always played baseball games that had an oval with an X in the middle to zero in on the pitch to hit it, and that was the most fun part of the game. I don't see that on this one??? (I bought used with no instruction book) If you're telling me your just supposed to hit the swing button when it comes over the plate that is pretty feakin LAME!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Super Awesome Game, except difficulty!
The Graphics on x-box are awesome. You can see everything. The crowd and players look real and touchable! It's cool that you can argue plays, except be carefull because your manager can get kicked out. And keep on checking over the play before you make your decision because I always get kicked out until I figured out that since they won't change the play no matter what so I just put the arguement intensity low so you don't kicked out as easily. The thing is about this game is that even when you put it on rookie I can't win. I score 1 or 2 points at first and then lose. So reccomend you put fielding on assisted. But when you higher the stats of your team,it just gets harder so you you really have to understand what to put! Overall this game is awwwsome. You should definitely buy THIS GAME! This is a MUST-HAVE for a low price like this!!!! ( the owner mode is hard to me but I'm not saying you shouldn't try it)(I'll give you a free cheat for it:create a player named Katie Roy (but don't mess with anything or it won't work)to unlock the legendary team called the Heroes and legendary players such as Noland Ryan,Babe Ruth, etc.)

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Bestest Baseball
This is the best baseball game available. I love the Owner mode where I can control stadium size, ticket cost, concessions, attractions, etc. It's cool to feel like you can actually do more than just play baseball. But you can do that too if you do not like the extras.
The game play is smooth, the players look pretty good (I would like more options in creating a player), and the flow of the game is fairly realistic.
The mini games add an extra option that is lots of fun when playing with a friend.
MVP 2005 lets you control your minor league franchises too. This allows you to develop talent, or you can just stockpile players; the salary cap might effect what you can do, but you can always turn it off. One of the good things about many of the newer games is the ability to fine tune the difficulty levels. No longer is it just EASY, NORMAL, & HARD.
The music sucks, but at least you can turn it off.
EA Sports lost the baseball licensing after 2005, but I have no doubt that they will eventually regain it because of their superior baseball game. None of the others come close.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Best Baseball Game Ever
This is definately the best baseball game ever!!! Take my word for it (i have every baseball game dating back to Major League Baseball feat. Ken Griffy Jr. for Nintendo 64). This game basically everything an avid fan could ask for. From the hitters eye, mini games, and the owner mode, MVP Baseball 2005 won't ever get old. Although these new features are coming in, all the old modes that you'd expect from a baseball game are still intact. You have dynasty mode, create a player, home run derby (Home Run Showdown), and a roster manager. I could go on for days writing about this game, but I'll let you find the rest out for yourself. If you were to purchase this game, you'd never need to buy another baseball game.
