 - Excellent protective caseThis case is meant as a protective case for the camera only. No, it does not have a strap. The camera (Canon S2, S5 IS) comes with a neck strap that attaches directly to the camera. You put the case on the camera, the neckstrap comes out of the case and goes around your neck. I use the little loop to attach the case to the neckstrap when I am using the camera. I would not be comfortable with my camera lying around not in this case. Rating: - Suits for Canon S5 ISI bought this case for Canon S5 IS and was a little skeptical if the camera would fit in properly. Surprise. It fits perfectly and unlike other reviews I can zip it properly as well. I just wanted a case, as in a protective case and not a separate bag to carry it, so that I can just put the camera in my laptop bag or a backpack. On the box it said its for S1, S2 but the Canon accessory pack that comes for S5 has the same case in it. Whoever said it won't fit probably didn't use the the right way. I put the camera front facing towards the front of the case and you can close the zip and the Velcro on top as well. The zipper is only on the sides and on top you have Velcro. The camera straps acts as the strap for the case if you want to carry it in that fashion. Overall a brilliant case which is inexpensive and from Canon for your S5 IS. ALL IN ALL I LOVE IT!WILL DO MORE BUSINESS WITH THIS SUPPLIER. THANK YOU Rating:  - nice fit for S1I bought this case for my Powershot S1 IS. The case fits like a glove, and I managed to put 4 spare batteries as well. Trying to stuff a memory card or something else is probably a stretch. The belt clip is a useful addition for holding on to it while taking pictures. Rating: - Upgrade from S1IS to S5ISI had a S1Is which died after 5 yrs and bought a S5Is which would not fit the S1Is case. The S5Is case is very snug but the camera does fit in ths case.
