- Defective disc won't play, konami won't honor warrantyI bought this as a gift for my kids. The disc wouldn't play in the XBOX. It doesn't appear to be dirty or scratched, it just doesn't play. No other XBOX title we have (more than 20) has this problem. Even though Konami's warranty states that they will replace any defective item, they refused to do so in this case because it was bought online. There is no language in the warranty distinguishing between buying online or from a traditional retailer. PS: Even though it was beyond Amazon.com's 30 day return period, when I explained the situation to Amazon.com customer support they immediately shipped a replacement. So buy from Amazon.com, just don't buy Konami products. Rating: - Our whole family loves Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3This is a great game for all ages. In our house everyone has used and enjoyed it ages-7yo- 16yo- and 30-somethings. It is also great exercise! It's worth the money and it's not full of video violence! Rating: - Fun game, bad musicThe kids love this game, and have spent many hours since Christmas dancing, laughing, and sweating. We have 2 dancepads, and each "dancer" can individually select their own level of difficulty... so you can still dance alongside a friend to the same song even if they are at a higher level than you. The only negative is the songs that it comes with. There are a few recognizable tracks, but most of them are from obscure techno artists or they are in Japanese. I know Konami is a Japanese company, but when we bought Karaoke Revolution and Karaoke Revolution Party, all 50 songs on each game were popular worldwide hits. I figured this would be the same with DDR, but I was wrong. If you aren't into sequences of techno-pop, then this game might be unbearable... or you'll just have to skip over the bulk of the songs. Rating: - Best Dancing Game Yet!I own several of the DDR games and this is by far my favorite! The songs on this version are much better than the original two. It includes many more recognizable songs including ones by the "Black Eyed Peas", "Ray Charles" (my personal favorite) and "Moby". I also enjoy the new features on this game. There is a freestyle section where you dance along to the song however you want to and it scores based on creativity and talent. This is a fun feature to use when you want to test who in a group is the better natural dancer :-) Another great thing about this game is the ability for one person to dance with four dance mats! You obviously have to have 4 mats, but it is so much fun it's worth it! This game is so addictive that you'll play it for hours without even realizing it. Our family uses it for excercise, it's definately more than a treadmill and has a workout tracker so you know how many calories you are burning! If you are looking for a dancing game I definately recommend DDR 3, it's great! Rating: - Great Fun For Everyone!I bought this game for my kids for Christmas, and EVERYONE young and old played! Worth every penny! I am buying an extra mat so that more than one person can play at a time!
