 - Great for passing the time ...This game is great. Some of the best graphics I've seen on the DS. I was surprised to see they integrated online gameplay. I love that at any moment, I can just use my WIFI to connect to a race going on pretty much anywhere in the world. I've only used the search option. The "karts" handle pretty well - You don't usually hit a wall on a turn (I've used Yoshi and Toad Stool, so I could be wrong), and each character seems to behave a little differently (bowser was slower when I used him, but would seem to be good for battle mode). All in all a great game, but personally, I would not play it for long bursts of time. It's like - win a cup or two and then put it away for the night - but then again, racing games are not always what I crave. If you're a racing type person, I'm sure you'll love it. Rating: - "LOVE IT"I asked my grandchildren what they thought of the Mario Bros. DS games and they responded, "LOVE IT". Rating: - addictingThis is a great game. The only thing that could make it better is a sequel. Rating: - WOW! Blew me away!I normally don't get into Mario games, haven't played many since Super Mario Brothers 2 came out for the original Nintendo. Always thought of them as 'kiddy games'. My brother in law brought this over on Christmas and we all played via WiFi... I was hooked, this game is one of the most FUN games I have played on the Nintendo DS. I was compelled to buy a copy so we could have races at home any time. Lots of fun, grat for kid/adult bonding too. Rating: - Just like the origional!If you liked the 1st one on NES, you'll love this one just as much! So fun!
