Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - This tool does the job.
This is a nifty little tool to have for watch bracelet pin removal. Easy to use. i've adjusted the bracelets on two of my watches and two others for a coworker - tool has already paid for itself!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - It simply works.
I've seen these at jewelry stores to which I've taken a watch to get the band resized. The jewelry stores at the mall tried to charge me $5.00 for this service. Buying this gadget is just what you need along with a little patience. Better to spend your $5.00 on the gadget.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Watch Band Pin Remover--It Works!
I bought this device on the off chance I would need to take out additional links from my metal watch band. I had used a tack as recommended in a review of the watch I had purchased, a Citizen's Eco-Drive Skyhawk AT, starting the pin with the tack (in the direction shown on the inside of the links with an arrow) and then pulling the pin the rest of the way with a pair of small pliers. Yesterday I noticed that I had missed one of the link arms when I replaced a pin so I went to my Watch Band Pin Remover. The first thing I noticed was that there were no directions. This might prove a fatal problem for the mechanical novice. The Remover works by twisting the knob on the end which moves the plunger into the hole in the watch band link. Two cautions--make sure the pin in the plunger is lined up exactly with the hole in the direction shown by the arrow on the link; then rotate the knob until the link pin is dislodged sufficiently enough to pull it clear. It took me two attempts to get the pin out and re-seat the link arm. I also discovered that the user can depress the spring-loaded plate at the bottom of the plunger channel to get better alignment with the pin to be removed.

The remover does the job. It just takes some patience getting the hang of it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great little device
I recently purchased two brand new Tag Heuer watches (Steel and Gold!!!) and I knew I could make the band reduction without having to wait and pay extra money for the job at a local Tag Heuer dealer. This band pin remover is so easy to use that anybody can do it. However, take your time practicing w/ an old watch just so you can learn how to manage the device without breaking the needles or damaging your expensive watches. Remember -- like me you are an amateur! But there's no better satisfaction when you make the job right w/ the right tool -- and this is one that you should have handy!!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - plastic junk!
This plastic gadget broke on me with the very first usage! It came with no instructions. I was obliged to spend yet more money to get a jeweler to remove a link on my watch. I did not bother, due to the hassle, to return this cheapo peace of $%&#. Think twice about buying this, a jeweler may be quicker and cheaper !!!
