- Keurig B40 Elite Gourmet Home Brewing SystemExcellent product!!! We supplemented our 12-cup coffee maker with this Keurig for those times when everyone wants something different. Plus I love the fact that they make teas and hot cocoa k-cups! My only negative is the size of the large portion; it's only 9.5 ounces. I would have preferred 12. We also use the next size up in our office. Rating: - Keurig One CupYou get the first cup of every pot. Coffee is always fresh and easy to make. Rating: - Thought it was a gimmick -- but now I use it many times a day!Got this as a gift for a family member who wanted it, and I thought it was a gimmick unitasker that would find its way to the closet quickly, only coming out for parties and such. But, I now use it several times a day, and it's fantastic! I still love making coffee with a French Press, but this is so much faster and easier to clean up, making nearly as good a cup of coffee! Make sure you buy some of the Keurig My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filters. I've got 3, and I've made literally HUNDREDS of cups of coffee with this machine and the filters, and I've only had one small problem. I probably waited too long to de-scale the unit, but de-scaling was very easy to do. Got tons of mineral deposits out, and then it ran like new. I thought, though, that I'd broken it because the water stopped coming out the spout and, instead, started running into the overflow valve and dumping back into the reservoir. As it turned out, I believe that a large chunk of mineral debris had come loose in de-scaling a few weeks previously, and another de-scaling process broke it loose -- it's been working fine for about a month now. The only thing I wish I'd done was to splurge for the units that make 3-4 sizes of cups of coffee, including travel sizes: the Keurig B60 Special Edition Gourmet Single-Cup Home-Brewing System or the Keurig B70 Gourmet Single-Cup Home Brewing System. To get a larger cup, I sometimes run this unit through two cycles with the same K-Cup or reusable K-Cup Filter, though the total volume is a bit unwieldy. My favorite use of this is to make iced coffee in a snap. Pour a fresh cup on top of ice and some milk, and you've got a VERY refreshing drink at a fraction of the cost of buying a pre-prepared "iced coffee" from the usual folks. I HIGHLY recommend this product! Rating: - lasted 1 year and 3 daysDo you want to have a sad feeling that after spending almost a hundred dollars on a coffee maker? We ended up sitting with a worthless machine only a few days after the warranty expired. Symptoms of machine death are: started being very noisy, then even noisier like a jet! while giving off partial 2 to 3 oz brews, then 1 oz brews, then finally only spit. This happened all on its last day. The water tank did need to be cleaned repeatedly as it seems to want to grow black mold, which was odd as we use only filtered water. Otherwise, for a year we loved this machine. It was just too short lived for the money to ever repurchase this product line again. To save the environment we were using the pod accessory. The k cups are a land fill disaster. All that plastic! Rating: - Senseo is much betterImus was touting this coffee maker so I bought one. Thanks a bunch Imus! I also have a Senseo which I highly recommend. If you like great coffee get the Senseo, it's half the price of the Keurig. Get the Keurig if you want to pay a lot for a coffee maker that also makes weak ordinary but expensive coffee and tea. I only use this disaster when I fill the (optional for $15 more dollars) coffee holder screen thingy with my own coffee.
