 - The zombies are here!Finally a game where you get to control the zombies and let them win! This game has 4 toughness settings so it fits basic to experienced gamers. As previously mentioned it is hilarious to hear and see everything that Stubbs does in this game. Any game that uses flatulence as a weapon is certainly worth having! If you have a twisted sense of humor you will enjoy this game again and again!!! Rating:  - Weird GameOK, So I bought the game. My Sis & I played it all the way through (co-op). It's a funny and weird game. It got a little boring munching all the time. Loved the different areas we got to go munching in. Fun to drive the different vehicles and make new zombies. The new zombies got a little irritating when they would eat "our food", so we had to destroy them too. haha I don't think it was worth the $50 I spent on it. I would suggest maybe renting first and then if you want it, buy it used. All in all is was fun to play and entertaining. Rating: - Zombies in the '50s make for one awesome game Stubbs the Zombie, like the title says, takes place in the 1950's with their vision of the present (or future to them) that looks a lot like the Jetsons complete with hovercars and stuff. Anyway,the game takes place in the city called Punch Bowl where Stubbs was murdered a few years earlier. Our boy Stubbs rises and wants revenge, so he goes around slaughtering people, eating their brains, and making an undead army. However, as the game progresses, Stubbs falls in love with this beautiful woman who is really famous and is being protected by a bunch of lethal Barber Shop Singers (wtf? lol). Will he get the girl? The game plays really smooth with only a few flaws. The basic idea behind Rebel Without a Pulse is to run around grabbing citizens, eating their brains, and turning them into zombies to help you..well..eat more brains. As you reach later stages you acquire Stubbs' weird moves of Toxic Farts, using his hand to possess people, throwing his liver and having it explode like a grenade, and finally rolling his head like a bowling ball. Stubbs can jump, and sort of run - it actually looks like he is stumbling faster, thats it. You can also play Co-Op which was A LOT of fun and made the game a bit easier. There are only 3 really obvious flaws with the first being your allies AI. When you get a bunch of zombies on your side, half of the time most of them will just stand there as you "whistle" for their attention. Secondly, once you begin fighting the hillbillies with shotguns and the army you will notice that if you want to do a full frontal assault on their lines with your undead army it is basically the hardest thing ever. This is because not only do they mow them down like fat kids in dodge ball, but once you get near the enemies they begin running backwards and shooting you. Finally, the game is painfully short and the ending was just flat out bad. Throughout the game you will be able to interact with some vehicles, and use some weapons. The vehicles include a tractor with a cow catcher on the front that youcan use to impale people on & some hovercraft that shoots this black, oil looking stuff that explodes. When I say you can use weapons, I mean when you possess someone with a weapon. These guns can be anything from a musket, to a shotgun, to an M16. The graphics in this title were suprisingly good, but I guess thats expected from the people who created Halo: Combat Evolved. The cities are really big and detailed, and the characteres look really well crafted and detailed. For instance there is fat detectives wearing suspenders, military men with bandannas..etc. The music is awesome. Its really just a goofy take on the music of the '50s, mixed with a bit of rock, clown music and techno. The screams are awesome and VERY satisfying... for a bit. It gets old however, because Wideload just recycled the screams over and over and over. Oh well. To finish this re-written review, I'm going to say that Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse is quite possibly one of the best games of 2005, not to mention one of the more fun and entertaining games on the X-Box. I highly reccomend it if you can find it. Rating: - A classic in the modern eraStubbs the Zombie is perhaps one of the best games out there not for its intense gaming experience, but for the goofy laid back humor. The whole premise foreshadows a humorous game, with a random zombie appearing out of the ground... I have written a previous review and I will post it here. Reasons why Stubbs the Zombie is a great game: One: Cooperative Mode - The problem with shooters nowadays is the lack of offline multiplayer. Every game designer wants to enter the new millennia and use X-Box Live. But really, this is a big mistake. Live is only for those that are completely absorbed in videogames. Plus, playing by yourself, in your room, with the shades down and the fan on, is just not as exciting as going over to your friends house. Besides the fact that at your friends house, you don't need to supply your own food, you are also able to beat the game together. You are able to laugh at the jokes together. Trust me, it is lots more fun. Two: Humor - Another problem today is the clichés in videogames. Too many developers want to immerse the player into the game. They want their game to be as realistic as possible. This is exactly where Stubbs excels in. Stubbs is so ridiculous, that it makes the game good. Stubbs is about as believable as purple dragons, but who cares? All we want is a game that we can flip on, play a couple levels, and enjoy ourselves. Too many other games are overly competitive. The only competition in Stubbs is fighting for brains. Three: Creativity - Another downfall for other games is the lack of creativity. Other games try too hard to think of the coolest vehicle, or the most ferocious enemy. Stubbs, on the other hand, lets the player kill the most basic enemy that exists - humans. Stubbs excels in its creativity, especially in weapons, enemies, and vehicles. No body needs some grotesque looking half-dog, half-goat or some space shotgun carved with huge detail. All we need is creative, cheese puff, fun! Four: Setting - Another aspect that makes Stubbs such a rad game is the time period it's set in. Most other games try to make their games futuristic, or contemporary, but Stubbs uses the good old fifties. With the fifties, Stubbs includes probably the best soundtracks that bring nostalgia to many people. It is this music that makes Stubbs outshine the others. Developers tend to add the weirdest suspense/techno/disgusting music that only a deaf grandpa would enjoy. Stubbs allows the player to listen to music that is recognizable. Rating: - Stubbs the Zombie, one of the greatest games out there!I would say this is definitely one of the greatest games out there. This game has some really good graphics, and as an addition, the features in this game are really cool. The soundtrack in this game have many '50s and '60s classics such as "Earth Angel" and "Mr. Sandman." Also, you get the choice of classicly eating peoples brains, or enflicting devistating beat downs upon your foes. There is one special move where you can fart your enemy into submission. All in all, this is a great game. If you have some extra money on you, I suggest you buy this game today.
