- Amazing...Amazing product. Wished it had a few more features, but its worth the money hands down. Rating: - AMAZING!!!!I've installed Leopard on 2 Macs we have here at the house and will be installing it on an older iBook G4 pretty soon. The iBook is about 3-4 years old and I've made no improvements to it... And according to the specs - it will work. And (unlike Vista) no upgrades necessary and I don't need the top of the line anything to upgrade. Its just simply a well designed OS that works well for so many different uses. Love it! Rating: - is it worth it??since the felines (tiger / jaguar) were all great I upgraded... I am not sure I needed to do so. Still stable... am awaiting to get time capsule to use the the back up system. that is the main impetus in getting leopard for me. Rating: - An excellent OS, but buy "Missing Manual" by PogueI am very impressed by the new OS from Apple, and it far exceeds my expectations. I upgraded largely to ensure the best compatibility with new third party applications, but there are many great features here in mail, iCal, security, multi-tasking, and so on. I have two tips: 1 - Buy "The Missing Manual" by David Pogue Mac OS X Leopard: The Missing Manual [NYT Columnist, some say humorist, and Mac geek]. His book helped me understand how to get the most out of this OS which would have taken too much time otherwise. 2 - When upgrading do a completely erase and install. Of coarse back up your data first on an external HD or in the cloud with Jungle Disk. Enjoy. Rating: - Mac OS X Leopard -- delivered to the WRONG address!!Amazon really messed up this order. I accidentally gave them the wrong delivery address in Del Mar, CA instead of Corona Del Mar, CA, but I sent them emails immediately to make a correction. Got no response, so I sent a msg asking them to call me immediately, which they did -- 3 times. On one phone call, I got a lady on the phone, gave her the correct address, and she put me on hold for 15 minutes, then I got disconnected. I gave up because I was told repeatedly (and it says this also on the website) that if it is delivered to the wrong address, don't worry, it will be returned. I just have the inconvenience of ordering again. No big deal. But this didn't happen. They delivered it to the wrong address -- it was not returned, and now I have informed my credit card company that I will not pay the bill. Huge mess that could've been avoided. I really tried.
