Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fun, but MUCH cheaper at Target
I bought my infant son this for swimming in the pool this summer. He likes it for about 10 minutes and then he wants out. (but that's just him :) It's easy to set up and use.
I bought it for about $15 at Target, so shop around--it's not worth $50!!!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Summer Fun
This is a great pool toy to have great construstion and design. Allows our little man to hang in the pool longer due to less sun exposure. Love the moveability of the canopy to block the moving sun. Our kiddo loves it and it has made him really like the pool and water. The only down side is trying to get it folded back down to the bag but we leave it inflated anyway since we use it so often.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Love this float!
We bought this float for my son last year, when he was 1-1/2 years old. He fit in it nicely. He was a little above average for his age. He was well above the water yet able to splash and touch the water to his heart's content. We had to drag him, shivering, out of the pool because he had so much fun.

Over the winter Aidan went through a pretty big growth spurt. At two he was the height of the average three year old, and nearly as heavy. By the time this summer came (and Aidan now 2-1/2), we were concerned about whether he would fit in the float. We need not have worried. He still floated well, not sinking, still played in the water, and we still felt he was quite safe, though we always keep him within arms' reach, as you should with any child's floatation device.

We haven't used the canopy because it is small and he is always facing a different way in the pool. Aidan loves being able to kick around to head where he wants to go. He splashes us all and has a good time, and we feel like he is safe.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - not quite sturdy
I bought 2 of these for my 7 and a half month old twins, after reading the reviews. Bottom line: your child must be much bigger than mine (17 lbs) to safely go in the water with this. I placed one of my girls in this and the water came up SO high, up to her neck, and it was inflated all the way. Not safe at all. In another few months we'll try again. Hopefully this will be the perfect thing when they're about 10 months old.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Our 10 month old loves it!
For $17 on Amazon, it was a great buy and our little girl loves it. It seems to be very well made and is VERY stable. Haven't used the shade yet but I'm sure it will be useful on long days in the pool.
