 - Amazing Garbage CanI can't believe I am saying a garbage can is amazing. My husband and I saw this garbage can and thought it would be nice to have, but we couldn't imagine spending that kind of money on a garbage can. Afterall, it is for garbage. We put it on our wedding registry and were shocked someone bought it for us, I mean come on $75 for a garbage can! We love it. Can't say enough about it. Can't imagine life without it. By far the best garbage can we have ever owned. Keeps the dog and cat out of the kitchen trash. Also keeps the "garbage smell" out too! No more smelling onions or meat in the trash before taking it out to the curb. A must have! Rating: - Can't say how much I love this can!!I bought this a couple of months ago because I thought it looked like such a cool gadget and I wanted something that would hold the garbage smells in...well, it is both of those things and more. It's just so handy in the kitchen when you have dirty hands full of stuff that needs to go in. And when I go to pull the bag out, I'm amazed how bad it stinks in there and I wasn't (thank goodness) smelling it in the kitchen. I recommend you buy the Hefty grabber bags...they automatically grab the edges of the can so I don't even worry about attaching it with that elastic thing except for maybe on one corner. I loved it so much I ordered two more in the 7 gallon for the bathrooms. Now there's definitely a room you want touchless and with a lid. Rating: - Did your cover break? Read this...I love this trash can! When I bought it about 18 mos ago I thought of it as a luxury...now I don't know how I'd live without it. It has always worked perfectly, and I'm on the same batteries I started with. Just yesterday the little plastic clip that raises the lid broke off (I see from some other reviews and a discussion thread that the same has happened to others). I came to Amazon to buy a new one. FORTUNATELY I checked out a discussion that led me to a site where I can buy just a new top for $[...]. It's here at [...] If you just need a new lid, check it out. Oh, and despite the fact that this broke after a year and a half, I would highly recommend this product. I use it a lot and there's nothing like it. If you have kids, help them keep the germs in the trash and off your stuff. Get this trashcan! :) Rating:  - Worth for the moneyMy wife saw the review and arranged to get this for our lovely new home. When I unpacked the trash can, i felt it was so thin and weightless, slowly I realised that we do not need really a heavy one for this. It is so far working well and feel the importance of touchless. We had house warming few days ago, and everyone who came to the house warming asked where did you buy this. We have two kids, we thought they may play with it, but not at all. The negative aspect of the touchless is to sensitive, even if you walk near by your dress make them to open many time and secondly I feel the time limit of lid opening bit shorter. But these two negative aspect are very minor problem. I would strongly reccommend this trash can to anybody. Rating: - Love it ... Long time ownerI've had the 13 gallon model for at least 3 years and I love it. I'm on the original batteries and it still looks good as new. I had to pay $100 plus for mine. Honestly, I consider the can one of the better purchases I've ever made.
