- a nice watch at a fair priceI have been wearing it for over a week and so far it has performed very well. It keeps time well (it is still dead on the atomic clock I used to set it), it is easy to read and I like the look. The price was also fair (especially after a few battery replacements on a conventional watch). If I could I would knock off half a star for the short band and lack of an alarm. The military time dial doesn't do much for me and it would be nice to have a different feature in its place. Rating: - Great Military Style WatchI like the large face of the watch with easily readable hour numbers. The second hand sweeps in the lower small circular dial. The upper right dial shows the military time at a glance. The sixty minute chronograph dial in the upper left is easy to read. The chronograph second hand sweeps all arount the face. This is not too helpful to me as a distance runner. I'm worried that the jarring motion may damage this delicate looking hand. In the dark, the fluorescent minute and hour hands are clearly visible against the black background with fluorescent dots at the hour points. The chronograph second hand has a touch of fluorescence close to the point. This might be helpful for clandestine operations at night, but not for my morning runs in winter in the dark. It is very easy to set the time and operate the chronograph. The date window is a little small and hard to read without adjusting the angle of the watch face. It is convenient to keep the battery charged with the light from an incandescent bulb. The good looking canvas band reminds me of my old Army web belt. I highly recommend the watch at this price. Rating: - good watch, horrible bandi love this watch, very basic, simple, good looking watch. i really hated the band so i swapped it out with a leather one. Rating: - Wrist strap a bit shortCitizen makes a great watch and this is one of them. The strap, however, is a bit short. I have small wrists so I am ok, but those with larger wrists would need a different strap. Rating: - Liked this watch: until it stopped keeping timeWorked great until day 45, which I learned is outside of Amazon's return policy for watches. Chronograph function works, but sadly the watch just won't keep time no matter how long it is charged. Unfortunately, Citizen wouldn't provide any phone support, only a recording of instructions to send the watch to their service center. As others have noted: band runs small, hard to tell if chrono buttons actuate, and metal rings on band holes are larger than I expected.
