Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good Bath Boat
After purchasing a number of bath toys for my toddler, I realized that only sadists or fools must design these things. No bath toy I have stays upright in the tub -- not even rubber duckies! However, I was very pleasantly surprised when I, with much trepidation, set Pirate Captains Pablo and Uniqua on their first bath voyage.

This boat stays upright, my toddler loves it, and we have lots of fun pushing it around the bath tub. While it comes apart easily (which my toddler loves),this facilitates easy drying, minimizing the growth of nasties that might build up on wet bath toys. I think this toy is a lot of fun and it restores my faith in toy-makers. While I'm sad to see the other Backyardigans weren't included in this package, Pablo is the favorite of most kids anyway, so I can overlook the omission.

I think this is a great tub-time toy for older babies, toddlers, and young children. I definetly recommend this toy to any parent.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fun tub time...
My kids love the Backyardigans and the pirate episode is one of the favorites, so this toy is a hit. Granted, they said and mast do not stay on really well, but for a tub toy it is fine. It floats and stores the pirates safely inside when not in use and it drains well. What more can you ask for? And you can use it out of the tub too.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Fun bath time!
Your kid doesn't have to be a fan of the Backyardigans to love this toy. Fun pirate bath time!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - If you want a shipwreck, buy this toy
My son got this for Christmas and used it for the first time today. There is a molded piece of plastic inside the boat where the figures are stored. It is balloon like (hollow but enclosed) with indentations for the figures. It attaches to the bottom of the boat by two screws. But there are also two holes all the way through to the bottom of the boat (which I didn't see until it sunk) so when you put it in the water it fills up with water and capsizes. Now there's about 1/4 cup of water inside this balloon like thing that I can't get out. I don't know if I received a defective one or what as other reviewers have said it floats. If you take your chance on this toy, be sure to look for and seal the holes with silicone or something. Also, the sail does not stay attached and the treasure chest looks like it should scoop and sprinkle water but it's pretty much useless. I am very disappointed!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Not as much fun as I thought it would be
I bought this for my son when he was 3 1/2. The boat floats fine but deep and the characters fall off. We also have trouble with the sail falling off. He still plays with it, but barely. I think there would be better bath toys instead of this one. This one is better on dry land.
