 - Second edition not as great as firstIt is my oppinion although this has been placed in the toys location that it is no longer a toy but a collectible for most trek fans. Going on from there, if any one has played this Card Game they will find the 2nd edition more streamlined. However if most are like the hardcore Fans that loved to interpret the rules and constant updates fromt he first edition then they will be grossly upset. Also the card graphics and the way they look makes them look more resembling a kids game such as pokemon, or yugioh card games. to me the first edition cards seemed more unique and made the gameplay so much better longer and fun. Rating: - Great Starter Box!This is a great starter box for the second edition! Includes the all important booster packs but also includes 8 free starter decks 2 for each affiliation. This set made the transition from the 1E to the 2E so much easier. Shipping was on time and the set was as advertised, brand new and unopened. If you are making the change from 1E to 2E or want to use the 2E cards with the 1E, this is the perfect set for that as almost 3/4 of the cards are compatible with 1E. It took awhile to get used to the new ruleset for the 2E but after playing a few games the gameplay flowed much better. Overall, a great product! Trekgirl
