- Worth every pennyI am now 28 weeks pg, and have been wearing this every day since about week 15, when my pants could still be buttoned, but I was certainly more comfortable without them buttoned. I thought it was a bit pricy, given that it's just a tube of fabric, but it is really worth every penny! I bought the "correct" size given my pant size, and I'm glad that I did. I wear a 4 for pants and a 6 for jeans, and the Size 1 is perfect. It's not too tight, but it's tight enough to hold up my pants and jeans. I wear it mostly folded in half, which is still quite comfortable. At the beginning, I wore it pretty high, just barely covering my (unbuttoned) waist band, and yes, sometimes it would ride up, especially in the back. As time is going on, I find myself wearing it lower on the pants because I now need to unzip them partially (and unfortunately most of the time it covers the pockets) and sometimes folding it somewhat less than half. It always works great, and I find that I do less adjusting now that I wear it lower. BTW, cargo pants work great because the pockets are at the knees! I finally broke down and am wearing a pair of maternity pants with a high, stretchy waist, but they're too loose to stay up! Again, the bella band works great. I fold it in half, wear it just at the point where the built in stretchy part starts, then fold the built in stretchy part over the bella band. That way you can't see my black band under the white band that's built into the pants. The bonus of wearing it this way is that the maternity pants don't have a zipper or a button, which, yes, does get squished to your belly, leaving a faint crease. But then again, you can't always have everything. I have never experienced the band rolling up or down. I have experienced it riding up, especially when getting out of the car. But, it's quick to get back in place. Lots of people have suggested the rubber band trick, but honestly, once you start unzipping the pants, that stops working in an "elegant" way. Instead, the bella band keeps working great, even on dress pants! In summary, I think it's great! Maybe it is a bit expensive, but it kept me from needing to buy new clothes in the second trimester... and I think it will allow me to buy fewer than I might otherwise during the third. Rating: - Great purchaseI am so glad I bought this! It double my wardrobe. It came on time and just as expected. I recommend it to all expectant moms. Rating: - great thing for second trimesterI really enjoy this item as it allows me to wear my non maternity pants. I am just at the beginning of my 5th month. It's come in handy as I don't have to go out and buy all new things just yet. I am in between a size 1 and 2 and went for the size smaller as other reviews said they run a bit large. i am an 8 and it fits great, once I get a bit larger I will probably have to go up a size but it's perfect for now. Rating: - Essential if you wear scrubsI wear drawstring scrubs at work, and the Bella Band has been wonderful at keeping them from falling down. I got a few extra weeks out of my pre-pregnancy jeans as well. I'm glad I bought two. Rating: - Bella BandIt is well made and definetly helps with the lower back issues I'm having right now at 6 months pregnant. It was worth the cost for sure.
