Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Install, Insert, Point-Click, & Touch = 1 Solid Cam!
Installation was Easy! I hooked it up yesterday and was caming up with all my buds, the advantage i had was that the audio was built in while they had to use external mics... ha!

Setup (using vista) -
All i did was install the CD, Insert the USB into the computer, Click a few ok buttons, adjust the voice and visual frequencies, and touch the "one-touch" on button and i was caming up with the crew!

Hands on -
The hands on experience was breath taking, i was soo excited. why? because my first web came sucked... cheap yes (logitec), but quality was so horribly bad i felt like i was trapped in the age where TV was first invented (lol). But it wasn't a lost because it strengthens my review of how sweeet this webcam is. The additional video effects are amusing and 3D-ishh... like having a bug running up and down the screen while your viewer is wondering what the hek is that, while you're pretending to smack it away but it keeps crawling all over the screen lol. i had fun doing that.

Using it with Microsoft Live Messenger: Well, it was awesome, visuals came out superb. audio was awesome! i read recently about those who's audio was distorted- well i guess they probably was 10ft away from the cam because my Bro was at my room door 3ft away from the cam and i recorded him perfectly well at normal vocal frequency.

Using it with Yahoo Messenger: Aughh, this is why i didn't give it a 5-star because the box said it would work with messenger (which it did) but it was off key by a whole lot! Everything was distorted like my old cam, but with a 35% better video quality. Motion was sluggish and viewing was unappleasing... but i guess i blame Yahoo for their sleezy Messenger. But, Microsoft shouldn't advertise then that it will work at a high quality on "all" messenger with video capability.

Using it with Digsby: Awesome! Digsby is a multiple chat client like trillian for those who don't know, with a few perks and kicks. The web cam showed beautifully on it, with all my dazzled 3d-ish effects.

Overall, it's well worth the $25.00 i paid for it when it was on sale on Amazon.com, that's one item i can toss out the box and rip the receipt because this item is a keeper!! Get yours and enjoy it too! :)

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A Decent Webcam at a Fair Price
I brought this to use with skype wanting a relatively cheap solution for a webcam and this seemed to fit the bill pretty well. there were some problems however, such as the lack of being able to configure the button on top to do anything besides open up windows live chat, which I found annoying. The clip on the cam also is a little on the flimsy side; not the plastic, but when i "clamp" it on my lcd monitor, it doesn't stay very well. It is cool that there is a mic, but I have heard complaints of echoing when I use the mic on the cam. The picture is noticeably grainy, and bleaches a lot when there is light behind you, and the midtones are very pronounced when there is a light shining on you. In other words, its very hard for me to geta picture that I really like, but hey, for the price I paid, I can't expect the ultimate in performance, although I feel like software could have fixed many issues. All in all, an OK purchase, nothing that I'm in love with but rather a cheap solution since I don't tend to use it everyday.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Good camera
If you are using VISTA and Yahoo messenger, the Video CAM will not work (software issue w/ yahoo messenger). Did not try with MS Live. So don't expect video chat btw a XP and Vista machine. Good price point for what's included. PC to PC chats was fine, but couldn't check video to video quality as one of us was using VISTA.

Pros:
-Automatic face tracking and focus
-good sound quality

Cons:
-grainy picture/video quality
-not true colors
-I don't expect video quality like the recent CDW commercials with the guy teleconferecing from an island.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Good product
Happy with the product. Needed to update the driver for my windows display to get rid of a green stripe down the screen. But Dell assisted with that. Great price for a webcam.
