 - Excellent sound -remote dependentThe sound is excellent, but don't lose the remote. Just about everything is dependent upon it with no easy way to control the unit form the front panel. Some things are impossible without the remote (like setting the time). BTW, when the unit is off the time displays but it is not backlit so you can not see it in the dark. Also, the unit will play mp3 format ONLY through the music port and will not play MP3 from a cd. Rating: - Excellent product for the moneyFor the price, this is a bit more than I expected. The sound quality and features are great. Having a choice of preset equalization settings was unexpected. I like how everything, except for the CD jumping into the player on it's own, is available from the remote control. In other units at this price, you don't usually get a full-feature remote. The wedge shape of the unit and seperate speaker system allows for ergonomic placement of the components in either the stand-up or tilt back modes. If there is any thing that I can say bad about this system is that it could be louder and the casings could be of better quality. However, that statement is negated by the price. No matter what, it is excellent for the money. "I especially love the way the CD door opens!" Rating:  - great sound systemI love it! I put it in the nursery so we can listen to classical music, and talk radio stations. The sound is very good, and I like the separate speakers. The remote control makes it convenient so I don't have to keep getting up to adjust the volume. I loved the idea of getting a Bose, but couldn't afford the price tag. If you are looking to add music to a single room- this will work great at a very reasonable price. Rating: - Exactly what I wanted!I purchased this for my son's playroom. Sound quality is good. Love remote control. Doesn't take up much space. Radio reception very good. Absolutely no complaints. Rating: - Great sound in a small spaceThis is a great little stereo. We needed something small for a shelf and this is perfect. Great sound quality, very compact little stereo. Easy to operate and program. Very good value for the money.
