- Very nice for the price! This is our second pair of these...my husband already had a set for his iPod as well. They are excellent headphones for the money. I read A LOT of reviews before buying. The only downside is that they don't have a built in anti-tangle...that little piece that you slide to the top to bring the two earbuds together when not in use so that the cords don't separate and get knotted. They do provide a piece of bendable plastic that you can use to wrap the headphones to prevent tangling, but it's a pain to use. Anyway, the most important thing about headphones is the sound and fit and these do an excellent job of that! Rating: - Great Mid Value EarbudsI bought these for my sister for her birthday to go with her new pink Ipod mini. The colors watch perfectly. But colors aside, these little earbuds can produce crisp base-distortion free sounds in your ear even at max volume (although not suggested to try this...it hurts). It comes with 3 sizes of ear fitting plastic pieces to fit your unique ear size. Also note that these new ones come with a better and stronger wiring than the older model of V-Moda Bass Freq. The old ones tends to be more elastic but thing and fragile (I have an older pair). Rating: - Got Bass?Well, this is my first day using these earphones, and I'm pretty impressed so far. The bass comming from these babies is PHENOMENAL! Almost sounds like my car haha. Compared to my Boss Triports and Sennheiser CX300s, the highs comming from these aren't anything too special, but if your current earphones are lacking in bass, get a pair of these V-Modas and you won't be disappointed. Rating: - perform as expected at sale priceThese were the first earphones I bought to replace the (rather poor) Earbuds that came with my iPod Nano. They sound good with adequate highs and mids but chunky full bass tones as the name implies. I don't listen to much hip hop but I do like my bottom end and these sound pretty good. I have never used "in ear" phones before, but these are comfortable and secure. I found that a good seal was required to develop the bass register but if they are jammed in TOO far, it cuts out half the sound--they need to be "just right." No problem--easy to put on. Over all, I recommend at $30-$35. Wouldn't pay much more, though. Rating: - Great sound .... but build quality is iffyI upgraded to these when my Colby earbuds failed due to the wire disconnecting inside the grommet near the pin. The V-MODAs sound much better than the Colbys and cancel surrounding noise well. They are also more comfortable. BUT ... just this week after about six months, the same failure occurred. Now I have to fiddle with the wire to make a good connection, but that won't do for long. I'll be looking for a replacement.
