- The worst Star Trek game created to dateSo I owned this game for a few days and I returned it to the store because I disliked it so much. The in-game play is terrible and it does not give you the feel of controlling the ship and the challenges is too hard to complete and Star Trek 25th Anniversary (1980)-ISH was a better game than this one. Rating: - User inface causes great painI played this game for a few hours and the awkward controls sent me to bed that night with a numb arm and outrageous pain in my shoulder. I thought maybe it was something else, and tried again.... This game looks nice, but is actually a Klingon Pain Stick cleverly disguised as a video game. I had no choice but to stop playing and throw it away. It was either that or end up in doctor's office. REALLY too bad, I was very, very much looking forward to a good Star Trek based PS2 game but sadly this was not it. Rating: - Star Trek Naval FunSingle player isn't fun. Very little fighting and a lot of ship following. What does make this game worth while is the multiplayer modes. Whether against friends or computeres, if you want a starship slug fest its worth the 20. There is also a code to unlock all ships, which was a life saver because I did not want to work my way through the single player to unlock them all. Rating: - Cheap game but good reason for thatThis game is cheap so you can't expect anything too flashy. The ship you control is very small and controls are not intuitive. Can be fun in skirmish mode but if you do the missions its a bit of a chore. There is a stupid section at the start where you fly through rings which is almost impossible. Overall not recommended. Rating: - Somewhat EntertainingI read some of the reviews and agree that the music could have been better. Some of the levels are extremely difficult (in my opinion). But they are doable.
